Empty vessel

You’re an empty vessel, hollow and cold,

A lifeless thing, no warmth to hold.

From afar, you shimmer, a sight to see,

But up close, you’re nothing—just tragedy.

I’ll place you away, high in the attic,

Out of sight, your charm is static.

Far enough to forget, close enough to use,

A tool for chaos, a muse I’ll refuse.
